The Mechanical Contractors Association of Alberta is a trade Association comprised of Contractors and Suppliers of the plumbing, heating and mechanical industry ranging from a proprietorship to national companies whether open shop or union. The Association is the recognized spokesperson for the Plumbing and Pipefitting Mechanical Trades as well as the promoter, protector and watchdog of the industry.
MCA Alberta is affiliated nationally with MCA Canada and internationally with the World Plumbing Council.
Members of the Association have the availability of many benefits such as group insurance, discount programs, membership meetings, social and sporting actvities, education courses, industry awareness, industry related products, apprenticeship tuition fee subsidies, collection assistance, etc.
Opportunities exist to " give back to your trade" by participating in career and trade fairs, various local, provincial and national committees and even serve on the Board of Directors.
