CIPHEX West 2021 to Take Place November 3 & 4, 2021... (posted Jun 2021)

The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) has announced that the CIPHEX West 2021 trade show will go ahead as planned November 3 & 4 at the Pacific Coliseum of the PNE in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

"It’s exciting news that CIPHEX West is returning. This exceptional show will provide plumbing and heating manufacturers an opportunity to reconnect with Western Canadian customers, meet new prospects and promote their new products and technologies,” stated newly elected CIPH Chair of the Board Bill Hooper, Uponor Ltd. 

The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating has a long and proud history of producing trade shows throughout Canada that help manufacturers bring new products to market, and provide essential training, product knowledge and networking for the entire plumbing and heating industry.  

“While the global pandemic put all CIPH live events on hold since March of 2020, industry members from manufacturers to wholesalers to contractors are telling us loud and clear that in-person events are critical to their business and they are eager to attend our trade shows again ” stated CIPH’s President & General Manager Ralph Suppa.

As a lead up to CIPHEX West 2021, CIPH continues to offer the CIPHEX Learning Labs to help manufacturers provide technical training for industry members and to facilitate connections with customers.

CIPH Announces Postponement of CIPHEX West to November 2021... (posted June 2020)

The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) has announced that the CIPHEX West trade show is postponed. The two-day trade show and conference will now take place November 3 & 4, 2021 at the Pacific Coliseum at the PNE in Vancouver, British Columbia. CIPHEX West is the largest event for the plumbing, hydronics, HVACR and water treatment industries in Western Canada.  

“The Province of British Columbia has been very successful in terms of flattening the curve with respect to COVID-19,” stated CIPH Chairman of the Board Andrew Dyck (Barclay Sales), “however the CIPH Board of Directors felt that postponing the trade show for a year ensures that the Institute is doing its part to protect the health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors and respecting the mandate from the BC Ministry of Health”. 

“We are pleased to announce that there will be a virtual event in November 2020,” added Show Committee Chairman Norm Bajwa (Bartle & Gibson). “The CIPHEX West team and Show Committee are working on the details, but we are committed to providing brand and product exposure for our exhibitors as well as an education and training program for contractors, wholesalers, engineers and other industry members”. 

The virtual event is expected to include eBooths with company and product information for exhibitors as well as webinars on technical and business topics presented by industry experts. More details will be available over the next few months.

The Coliseum at the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) is the new home for CIPHEX West in Vancouver. This new location offers easier access for attendees, plus CIPHEX West is providing free parking for exhibitors and attendees.

NEW Tech Solutions to Build Attendance

CIPHEX West is working with Gleanin, a UK based technology company with an exciting product to facilitate social referral marketing; attendee-to-attendee referral marketing which enables and encourages attendees to invite their industry contacts and friends via email and social media. The show is also now on Instagram with plans to develop an “influencer” program and promotion in the coming months.
